DELIVERIES

​Please monitor your fuel tank gauge and notify us in advance for a delivery. 

​

Our current delivery schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm in these areas: 

  • Monday – Fayette, Wayne 

  • Tuesday – all others 

  • Wednesday – Readfield

  • Thursday – all others 

  • Friday – Mt Vernon, Vienna

To contact us for fuel delivery:

 

If you call our number, you may not get a live person, so please leave a message with your name, the type and amount of fuel you are requesting, and a phone number if we need to contact you. 

 

We cannot guarantee a price, so if you call on a Thursday and we are in your area the following Monday, we cannot guarantee Thursday’s pricing on Monday.  Fuel prices are subject to change on a daily basis.  We post our current prices on our FaceBook page and on our website.

 

Please keep in mind the following:

  • We are a COD business, which means payment is due at time of delivery.   

  • If you have a balance due, we cannot deliver fuel unless your prior balance is paid.

  • A good rule is when your tank gets below a half tank to contact us for fuel.  It’s good practice not to let your tank get too low (IE: you may run out of fuel or stir up debris from the bottom of the tank).

  • It’s a good idea to have your furnace cleaned every few years.  We do not provide this service but partner with vendors who can take care of your service needs.

  • In winter weather, please keep a path to your tank cleared and have road/driveway sanded for safety reasons.

 

​​PAYMENTS

We accept payment by cash or check and expect payment at time of delivery.  We have self-addressed envelopes we leave with your invoice to mail your payment.  You can also leave a blank, signed check and we can fill in the amount for you.

 

We offer payment by credit card online on our website.  Since we pay for this service (no cost to the customer) we encourage customers to consider paying online or leaving a card on account.  Paying online is a convenient and efficient way to pay.   To pay online go to: www.berryoilcompany.com (top menu button, Online Payment).

 

We can deliver a dollar amount instead of gallons (IE $200 of fuel instead of 100 gallons).  If we receive requests for a fill-up, you will be required to pay in advance (check or prepayment online), especially if the amount is large.

 

We have several customers who like to prepay funds on account to help budget their fuel costs.  If this is something you would like to do, contact us or send a note with your payment.

 

​HEATING ASSISTANCE

​We participate with the Maine HEAP (Home Energy Assistance Program) Program.  This program helps qualified homeowners and renters pay for heating costs, by helping to pay for fuel and emergency fuel deliveries.  Maine HEAP link is: https://mainehousing.org/heap

 

Maine HEAP is currently taking applications and encourages households to apply early as funds are distributed on a first come first-serve basis.  If you would like Berry Oil to deliver (#2 Heating Oil or Kerosene only), please contact us for an account number if needed.       

 

Other resources to contact for help with heating assistance include your local town office, food banks or churches.  If you know of a friend or neighbor who is having a hardship, or you would like to give the gift of fuel, consider making a donation.  We have gift cards available for any amount.
